Why is Sunday night when they put on most of the best shows on television, or at least the ones I care most about? Is it the most popular night ratings-wise? No matter what season of the year this seems to be the case for me: Dexter, Mad Men, The Killing, Game of Thrones, True Blood, The Walking Dead, Newsroom, Downton Abby, Boardwalk Empire, and many more. Add to that the NFL games if it's one I want to watch.

What's so special about Sunday's? Thank goodness for some channels that do multiple showings. My DVR is panting like a marathon runner.

Program directors know most people are home and able to watch television is my guess.

Yep, I've been watching it. It's good but it hasn't quite "grabbed" me yet.

Madam Secretary replaced Amazing Race (now on Friday nights).
I watched the premier episode but chose to watch the Masters of Sex finale when football ran over last week.

IMO, Tea Leoni is much better when she is the straight man in a comedy but I gave it a shot. Madam Secretary's actors are good but for some reason to me anyway, the cast doesn't quite fit well in this show all together. I don't plan to watch it again unless the plethora of cable channels I have access to suddenly go dark on Sundays.

With TAR now on Friday I haven't been able to sit down and watch it since I'm at work then. To be honest I forgot it had even started until my son asked if I'd seen it yet.

Same here - forgot Amazing Race had moved but my Tivo recorded it. It's good for early Friday night since there was nothing else in that time slot.
