I'm actually getting quite tired of hearing about racism everywhere (from recent trials to the BB house), but I just HAD to do one more song about Aaryn and her "I wish I cared more, but I don't" comment.  I'm guessing when she gets out of the house, she'll care a little more!  Plus, this song was so easy to do, it only took a few minutes of my time (and now just a couple of minutes of yours, if you keep reading!  Cheesy).

If you don't know the tune, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhSYbRiYwTY

To the tune of “Space Oddity”
By David Bowie

Planet Earth to Aaryn’s Mom, Planet Earth to Aaryn’s Mom
Take your lawyer bills and put your white hood on

Planet Earth to Aaryn’s Mom, commencing countdown, spin is on
Check your conscience and forgiveness be with you

This is Planet Earth to Aaryn’s Mom
You've really raised a babe
But she’s shown she’ really ugly deep inside
Eighty cameras, mics, and feeds… you cannot hide

"This is Aaryn’s Mom to Planet Earth
I’ve paid to spin the scene
And I’ll show you she’s not racist, rude, or mean
Publicists can turn a turd into ice cream!

For there
We can’t protect her in a tin can
Far from the real world
Thru her eyes of blue
Colors skew her point of view:

‘Though they’ve told me I have made offense
Remarks come from me still
And I wish that I cared more, but I just don’t
Tell the gays I hate them just as much’ (they know!)”

Planet Earth to Aaryn’s Mom
In your daughter’s head, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Aaryn’s Mom?
Can you hear me, Aaryn’s Mom?
Can you hear me, Aaryn’s Mom?
Can you hear...

Am I playing in Big Brother
Hoping for a break
My career is screwed
Is there nothing I can do?

Thanks, rocksniffer.... Last year (BB14) was a little weak with just a few songs, but I was a little more inspired during BB12 and BB13.  Just something I do when I have a few spare minutes.  Glad you enjoyed them!

(thanks, also, terabyte and redhed, for your kind comments!)

I sure am glad Production decided to change up the MVP thing a little.

I just had a few thoughts cross my mind, so I figured I'd post another quick song to make the points:

If you don't know the tune, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeGPpwFpIAA

To the tune of “Beach Baby”
By First Class

Do you remember back in old L.A. (Wo-oh-oh)
When all the houseguests played a game for pay (Wo-oh-oh)
Whatever happened to the game of yore,
Players competed ‘stead of chasing tail?

Remember how the players used to play (Wo-oh-oh)
Renegades, Chilltown, and the ol’ Brigade (Wo-oh-oh)
This year they don’t know what a deal is for
Band-aids taking down a group of males!

Big Brother, Big Brother, Grodner and clan
Give me something that I can remember
Just like before, your big twist was a bore in our hindsight
Big Brother, Big Brother, changing the plan
From July to the end of September
MVP’s fun if it’s not only won by one person

Oooh, I never thought that it would end
Oooh, GM is crying again!
Shomance craze, no deal stays
Strategic plays are all just fading away

We couldn’t wait for Howard/Spencer day (Wo-oh-oh)
For them to finally win the HOH (Wo-oh-oh)
It would be fun to see them pull the strings
Either one, it would be interesting

Big Brother, Big Brother, Grodner and clan
Give me something that I can remember
Just like before, your big twist was a bore in our hindsight
Big Brother, Big Brother, changing the plan
From July to the end of September
MVP’s fun if it’s not only won by one person

How about this for an idea.... maybe I should call my friend Ms. Grodner and have her hire a cover band to play these at the wrap party?   Shocked   Cheesy

This one is for the 3 girls on the block this week, in honor of their ability to take down the guys the old fashioned way.... and in recognition of their meanness as well as the guys' stereotypical male behavior.

Also, for those of you who like a little more edge to your music.....

If you are not familiar with the tune, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17HRV8k1YMw
(lyrics start about 2 minutes into the song, if you want to skip to them - although you'd be missing 2 minutes of epic guitar and drums)

To the tune of “For Whom the Bell Tolls”
By Metallica

Hooking up, takin’ it chill, in the early days
Evil will, deep inside
Having fun, spare no one, with their endless craze
On they fight, slurs aren’t right, yes, by race or gay

For their fill men would kill, why? We do not know
Stiffened c**ks test their pride
Men of five, not alive; MC took the blow
Going insane from the pain that they surely know

These girls are all trolls
BB goes on
These girls are all trolls

Take a look into their eyes, then just say goodbye
This is the last test of will
Open the door, massive roar, take a defeated sigh
Shattered goals fill his soul as to Jules he cries

Stranger now, thin disguise, to him a mystery
His head is up in the clouds
Just a pawn, all is gone, didn’t make jury
Now he sees what will be, rest of summer free

These girls are all trolls
BB goes on
These girls are all trolls

If you don't know the tune, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxKCPjcvbys

To the tune of "Double Vision"
By Foreigner

Playin' down 'n' dirty, minutes in-between
America's vote will make this week extreme
Decisions made in no time, ain't got time to wait
McCrae, Amanda, Helen won't have time to bait

No one hides from that double eviction
Expose the lies with that double 'viction
Ooh, chaotic moods we need
How can we play with speed?
The double 'viction is the recipe

Some never do more than they really need
Beds are shakin', with McRanda in the lead
Suspicion's rife, as Helen pushes to the limit
They'll live one whole week in a single minute

No one hides from that double 'viction
Expose the lies with that double 'viction
Ooh, chaotic moods we need
How can we play with speed?
That double 'viction always seems to be the recipe
The recipe, yeah ay ay

Ooh, ooh, double 'viction
(Ooh, double 'viction)
I need double 'viction
(Ooh, double 'viction)
(Ooh, double 'viction)
It takes me out of my game
Takin' me out of my game
(Ooh, double 'viction)
We get our double 'viction, oh oh
Leavin' double double
(Ooh, double 'viction)
Oh, we have double 'viction
(Ooh, double 'viction)
(Ooh, double 'viction)

Keeping a power couple into the late stages of the game?  How dumb are some of these houseguests?

If you don't know the tune, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDPpq4qkkjA

To the tune of "Rock Me Amadeus"
By Falco

Mock me, mock me, mock me, mock me I'm a dumb-ass... too, too

Mock me, I won't make it to the top

He was a pizza boy, and now he runs the lot
Keeps his girlfriend around just so she'll stir the pot
All of the houseguests give him hugs as he boots them out

And the others say:
"Come on mock me, I'm a dumb-ass"

He's a superstar, so very popular
Though outside the house, I doubt that he'll go far
And we know that he will never be a rock idol

But the others say:
"Come on mock me, I'm a dumb-ass"

I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... I'm a dumb-ass
I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... I'm a dumb-ass
I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... oh, oh, oh I'm a dumb-ass
Come on mock me, I'm a dumb-ass

I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... I'm a dumb-ass
I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... I'm a dumb-ass
I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... oh, oh, oh I'm a dumb-ass

With no one challenging, McRanda's cruisin' to a win
The other houseguests are naive to keep a power couple in
They'll let Helen run the house 'til they cut her out
Then they'll cover for eachother, fewer people in the house

He's a superstar, so very popular
Though outside the house, I doubt that he'll go far
And we know that he will never be a rock idol

Still the others say:
"Come on mock me, I'm a dumb-ass"

I'm a dumb-ass, I'm a dumb-ass... I'm a dumb-ass
(Etc., etc., etc..... repeat to end.... fade out)
