Well, I've chosen one of the best songs of all time to start off this year.  (I plan to add to this thread each week)

This is to the tune of "Hallelujah" by Three Talented Girls/Emerging Warrior Studios (originally by Leonard Cohen).  If you are not familiar with it, here's a link so you can get the melody: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO1aMvcIx_g

... and heres's the Big Brother version:

I've heard there was a TV show,
(Big Brother, as we voyeurs know)
But you donít really care for TV, do ya?
It goes like this:  the plots, the twists
Alliances, throwing major fits
Production contemplating how to screw ya

How to screw ya, How to screw ya
How to screw ya, How to screw-ew-ew-ew-ew-ew ya

I know weíve all been here before
We know this room, and we've walked this floor
Vicarious houseguests we have all been through ya
Play it smooth in the early parts
Then be a beast toward your victory march
You must avoid eviction as they screw ya

As they screw ya, As they screw ya
As they screw ya, As they screw-ew-ew-ew-ew-ew ya

Just do your best, being smartís a must
Beware shomance, careful who you trust
They bend the truth, donít let somebody fool ya
And even if it all goes wrong
In my parody of an awesome song
Remember theyíre still thinking how to screw ya

How to screw ya, How to screw ya
How to screw ya, How to screw-ew-ew-ew-ew-ew ya

Yes... I wish I could say I made up the music, too (but I'm not nearly that talented)!

I plan to do one each week.

I have a bunch I did for BB14, BB13, and I think BB12.
(they are now posted in those forums)

In light of some of the recent comments made in the house (by more than one person, I might add - not necessarily pointing fingers at anyone in particular)..... here's my most recent song offering:  (by the way, I'm really not trying to be judgemental, we've all made mistakes, just commenting on the recent situation in the house...)

If you are not familiar with the melody of this song, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEYN5w4T_aM

To the tune of "Santeria"
By Sublime

Well, my mouthís got diarrhea
I ain't got no sense at all
A half a million dollars, youíd think
I'd not be small

If I could shut my pie hole
Stay somewhat underground
Well I'd have a chance at winning
Not be homeward bou-ou-ou-nd

But you really need to know: Iím crazy
Yeah, you really need to know:  Iíve lost my mind
Common sense, I need, oh
My soul will have to
Wait till I get back
To my little life at home
Gotta learn to love one an' all
Well I had my break, had my break, had my break
And I failed to live it out, oh yeah
Well Iím gonna cry

But you really need to know: Iím crazy
Yeah, you really need to know:  Iíve lost my mind
Got love?, make it go, oh
My soul will have to

Oh, never know what to say, my baby
What I really wanna say, is I've got mine
And I'll fake it
Yes, I'm goin' up

Tell Sanchito that if he knows
What is good for him
He best go run an' hide
Insults, racial slurs will be flyiní

And I won't think twice to stick that foot
Straight down my own throat
Believe me when I say that
Iím ignorant and a real dumbass

What I really wanna know, my baby
Oh, what I really wanna say
Is thereís just one way back?
And I'll make it?, yaa

I wrote this in anticipation of David leaving tonight.  If I'm wrong, I guess I'll have to write another one tomorrow for whoever did leave!

If you are not familiar with the tune of this song, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSAoEf1Ib58

To the tune of ďSloop John BĒ
By The Beach Boys

(sung by houseguest David)

We come on to play BB
My racist girlfriend and me
Around the house for only a week I did roam
A clichť Cali sight
Iím not very bright
My game never showed up
And now I go home

I relish the fact Iím a male
Conceit is part of my fail
Call for the ChenBot on Wednesday
Let me go home, let me go home
Iím gonna go home, yeah yeah
Well my game never showed up
Iím gonna go home

If you like me, youíd have to be drunk
My goal in lifeís to get crunk
Liviní at home, on the beach I spend my whole day
No dreams of my own
The brain of a stone, yeah yeah
Iíve got no future, Iím gonna go home

I relish the fact Iím a male
Conceit is part of my fail
Call for the ChenBot on Wednesday
Make me go home, make me go home
Iím gonna go home, make me go home
Why don't you make me go home
(Conceit is part of my fail)
Conceit is part of my
My game never showed up, Iím gonna go home
Make me go home

The power without me sits
Within the Moving Companyís mitts
They took the pizza boy and made him make me go home
Made me go home
Why don't they leave me alone?
This is the worst trip I've ever been on

So hoist up the lifeguardís fail
See how the girlfriend frets
Call for the ChenBot on Wednesday
Let me go home, let me go home
Iím gonna go home, yeah yeah
Why don't you let me go home

Well, I may be jumping the gun a little here, but this one is written in anticipation of Elissa leaving when the next eviction comes around.  If I'm wrong, no big deal, I'll just write another one!

If you're not familiar with the tune of this song, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E2hYDIFDIU

To the tune of ďMy WayĒ
By Frank Sinatra

And now the end is near
And so I face ďThe ChenĒ for certain
It seemsÖ my game was lame
And how it failed, Iím still not certain
I rode my sisterís fame
I didnít have to do it my way
But, lo, in spite of this
Iíll hit the high-way

Advantages, I had a few
For fans and fame I didnít struggle
The MVP, a guarantee
Didnít need a man with whom to snuggle
I planned to run the house
With Rachelís fans vaulting me sky-way
But, lo, in spite of this
Iíll hit the high-way

Yes, there were times
I'm sure you knew
When CBS said what to do
But through it all, despite their clout
The other guests still kicked me out
I faced it all
Iíll take the fall
And hit the high-way

I've schemed, I tried to hide
My fans and fame, to keep from losing
And now, as tears subside
I find it all so darn confusing
To think I did all that
Although not well, not in a sly way
Productionís sad, they want me bad
But Iíll hit the high-way

For what is a fan, what have they got?
If not my sisí, then they have naught
As a married mom, I wasnít free
To play like sisí, and skin my knees
The record shows only Rachel blows
So Iíll hit the high-way

Yes, Iíll hit the high-way

Thank you for the kind words, Cheri, spinelli, Kathy_B, Ftlbeachbum, and terabyte!

I thought I'd do a little quickie here as a "tip of the hat" to Howard.  I think he's playing a smart game so far, staying under the radar, yet still forming alliances and being somewhat social.  Not coming across as too strong of a competitor, although he may very well be (time will tell on that).  Not making enemies, not locking himself in to too much, either.  Not anyone's main target - yet.  Keeping it classy.

Although he's maybe not my favorite player this year, he's definitely up there so far.  I just thought he deserved a little mention here.  So here it is:

If you are not familiar with the melody of this song, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SCOimBo5tg

To the tune of ďWhen You Say Nothing At AllĒ
By Alison Krauss (originally by Keith Whitley)

It's amazing how you have hidd'n right from the start
Without saying a word, you still seem pretty smart
Racists are there, but you never complain
You're in the clear, as you don't say a thing

The kids in the house with their showmance, so needy
There's a truth in the phrase, "you can take me or leave me"
The way you play BB will get you to early this fall
You play it best, when you say nothing at all

All day long on the feeds, hateful talking out loud
But when you don't give in, you do yourself proud
Most of the houseguests are not so refined
You show your class with a strong peace of mind

The kids in the house with their showmance, so needy
There's a truth in the phrase, "you can take me or leave me"
The way you play BB will get you to early this fall
You play it best, when you say nothing at all

The kids in the house with their showmance, so needy
There's a truth in the phrase, "you can take me or leave me"
The way you play BB will get you to early this fall
You play it best, when you say nothing at all

With all the absolutely ridiculous antics displayed by GM when Nick left the house, as well as last week's hysterics by Aaryn when her "boyfriend" of one whole week left, not to mention that this week is likely to produce another victim of a bad shomance.... I felt this song was appropriate:

If you are not familiar with the tune, go here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrO4YZeyl0I

To the tune of ďBad RomanceĒ
By Lady Gaga

Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a bad shomance
Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a sad shomance

Rah rah ah-ah-ah! Ro mah ro-mah-mahÖ.. Gaga oh-la-la!
Want your bad shomance
Rah rah ah-ah-ah! Ro mah ro-mah-mahÖ.. Gaga oh-la-la!
Want your bad shomance

I'm so pathetic, a man defines me
I'll give you everything; I've known you one week
Better wear a gloveÖ Glove-glove-gloveÖ Better wear a glove

Iím filled with drama when youíre voted out
My life is over, Iíll cry and Iíll pout
Want your fake loveÖ Love-love-loveÖ Want your fake love

You know that I want to, and you know that I need to
I want it bad, your bad shomance

I wanna be loved, and Iíll take any man
You and me we have a bad shomance
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oooh!)
I donít know love, a short attention span
You and me itís such a sad shomance

Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a bad shomance
Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a bad shomance

Rah rah ah-ah-ah! Ro mah ro-mah-mahÖ.. Gaga oh-la-la!
Want your bad shomance

Iím here for ratings and dates, I am blind
Iím immature and Iíve got a weak mind
I must be lovedÖ Loved-loved-lovedÖ Need to be loved

I might be psycho, you might be a pri@k
I just want ratings, and thatís pretty sick
Donít need true loveÖ Love-love-loveÖ Donít need true love

You know that I want to, and you know that I need to
I want it bad, your bad shomance

I wanna be loved, and Iíll take any man
You and me we have a bad shomance
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oooh!)
I donít know love, a short attention span
You and me itís such a sad shomance

Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a bad shomance
Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a bad shomance

Rah rah ah-ah-ah! Ro mah ro-mah-mahÖ.. Gaga oh-la-la!
Want your bad shomance

Stalk, stalk after BB
Watch it, I might just be crazy
Stalk, stalk after BB
Watch it, I might just be crazy
Stalk, stalk after BB
Watch it, I might just be crazy
Stalk, stalk after BB
Watch it, Iím a bit crazy

I want your love, and youíll want your revenge
When you get the boot, you wonít wanna be friends
(J'veux ton amour
Et je veux ta revanche
J'veux ton amour)
You wonít wanna be friends
You wonít wanna be friends
You wonít wanna be friends
Want your bad shomance
Want your bad shomance

I wanna be loved, and Iíll take any man
You and me we have a bad shomance
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oooh!)
I donít know love, a short attention span
You and me itís such a sad shomance

Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
A bad shomance
Caught in a bad shomance
A bad shomance

Oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh!
Caught in a bad shomance

Rah rah ah-ah-ah! Ro mah ro-mah-mahÖ.. Gaga oh-la-la!
Want your bad shomance
